Chiropractic Medicine A Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) is simply a doctor that uses their hands to help people through hands-on manual therapy, exercise physical therapy, & modification of lifestyle factors, such as nutrition. Instead of relying on drug therapy or invasive surgery chiropractors have traditionally used, and have become most well known for using, chiropractic joint manipulations as a safe & very effective alternative. The results are improved muscualr, nerve, & joint function. A Doctor of Chiropractic undergoes an extensive 4-year post-graduate training program in the diagnosis & management of musculoskeletal diseases & primary care conditions in addition to having a bachelor's degree in undergraduate studies.
