Massage therapy is a treatment where the muscles & other soft tissues are manipulated by the therapist's hands. It is proven effctive for treating pain, muscle tension & discomfort as a result of injury, occupational stress, & other chronic conditions. Massage techniques offered include:

  • Deep Tissue: Addresses deep muscle tension common in sports injuries and chronic pain conditions
  • Swedish: Relaxing massage which increases oxygen & blood flow to the muscles while flushing out toxins & inflammation
  • Myofascial Release: Stretching fascia covering muscles for decreased pain & increased range of motion
  • Craniosacral Therapy: Gentle pressure on the spine, skull, diaphragm to influence the nervous system regulation cerebrospinal fluid pressure & flow
  • Sports & Fitness Massage: Eases tight muscles & imblances from regular strenous physical activity
  • Prenatal & Infant Massage: Provide comfort during pregnancy & related symptoms. Improves infant's tension, irritability, & wellbeing

Massage Therapy

A registered massage therapist is a licensed therapist in Ontario who addresses many issues using mainly hands on soft-tissue & joint technqiues to improve symptoms such as pain, stiffness, & spasm.

Massage therapy is an great addition to rehabilitation, injury management, & regular fitness or sports participation.
